We at Felton Laboratory Charter School adhere to a strict uniform code. Upon our return from the first intersession, all students who are enrolled in grades 3 – 8 had specific attire for their uniforms. This was sent home before we left for the break. I am attaching the uniform code again for your perusal. Students who come and are not in uniform will be asked to not attend until they are in uniform. Anything that is not within the code, is not permitted especially those without the crest.
Parents, provided your child inadvertently reports to school out of uniform, we ask that you send extra “in season” uniforms with your child during the first week of school for your child to retain in his/her cubby/locker. The purpose of this request is to ensure that you and your child are aware.
All students attending Felton Laboratory Charter School are required to wear school uniforms. Students who arrive at school out of uniform will be sent to the office to have the parents bring the required uniform to the child. Repeated violations may result in disciplinary action.
Uniforms must be clean. All blouses and shirts must be worn inside at all times.
From the beginning of school in August through and to October 1st and upon returning from spring break, students may wear the spring uniform. Beginning October, the fall uniform becomes mandatory. Sixth through eighth grade students are required to wear the FLCS Blazer with the fall uniform Monday through Thursday. Friday they will be permitted to wear the white, burgundy or light blue polo shirt with a collar and the FLS Bulldog or “dress down” if the PTO so desires to follow through with this initiative. **Only FLCS outerwear may be worn in Felton Laboratory School at any time.
